Please don't bother ringing the doorbell
Okay, we hope you can think long and hard about this question: When was the last time you saw a young adult ring the doorbell, or when was the last time you did, if that's the case? All you need now is a text message letting them know you've arrived, and the door will open.
The Wall Street Journal reports that "some millennial smartphone users are so used to texting when they arrive somewhere that the sound of a doorbell startles them." Now you know you shouldn't ring doorbells anymore.

Nobody cares where the meat is.
A typical trait of millennials is their love of demonstrating their activism. One product that has suffered from this is meat. Millennials don't want to be associated with the meat industry and have expressed this stance by refusing to buy it.
Many have decided to become vegan or vegetarian, citing reasons such as animal cruelty and the association of cows with climate change. Moreover, meat isn't exactly the cheapest product at the supermarket.
